This is a gold record award for the Beatles 45 "A Hard Days Night". This single was released in July of 1964 and achieved gold status on August 25, 1964.This was The Beatles third single to go gold. This is an award for The Beach Boys single of "Good Vibrations". This is the only Beach Boys title to go gold during their entire heyday in the 1960's.This song was released in October of 1966 and was certified Gold on December 21, 1966.  Obviously they sold millions of records but for whatever reason Capitol Records never registered the sales with the RIAA. While LP awards for The Beach Boys are around this single award is a Monster. This is a gold record for the album "Cheap Thrills" by Big Brother and the Holding Company with Janis Joplin. This album was released in August of 1968 and went gold on October 15, 1968. This was Big Brothers only gold record.
